We run private foraging experiences for adults and children such as for corporate away days or team socials, hen and stag dos, club socials, chefs, schools, scouts and community groups. Watch the following video for a summary and introduction to my private events.
Corporate Foraging Events
Looking for ideas for an away day or team social activity, or to treat corporate clients? We run corporate foraging courses across the country. The great thing about a foraging experience as part of an away day or team social is that it’s a fun, fascinating and unique activity, and harnesses the power of nature to refresh and revitalise everyone for the day and weeks ahead.
Poor mental health and wellbeing costs businesses billions every year in the UK alone through lost productivity and sickness. Countless studies have shown the incredible benefits of connecting to nature for the wellbeing of employees, reducing stress and burn-out, increasing productivity and efficiency, and greater team unity. There are few better ways to connect with nature and achieve all of this than through a foraging experience.
A foraging session can be anywhere from an hour to a full day and can be tailored to your requirements. For example, perhaps you want a 2-hour morning foraging session to put everyone on top form ahead of a strategic planning session you have in the afternoon. Perhaps a 3.5-hour foraging experience including a foraged lunch is more what you’re after, or maybe you want a 2-hour team social evening session when the nights are light enough between April and September.
Having worked in the wine industry I can ever throw in my unique “wild food and wine tasting” option if you really wanted to spice things up!
Whatever your requirements regarding the length and nature of a foraging experience, just let me know and we’ll make it happen.

Hen and Stag Do Events
Organising a Hen or Stag Do experience and want to try something unique and different that will not only excite and entertain but also refresh and rejuvenate? Look no further!
From 2-hour foraging walks to full-day foraging experiences, I can tailor the experience to your requirements. And with 10 years of experience in the wine industry before I got into foraging as an adult, I am uniquely positioned to offer, as part of your foraging experience, my special “wild food and wine tasting” if you really want to spice things up!
All my Hen and Stag Do events aim to entertain in a way that will immerse you in nature and provide you with a fun and fascinating experience you will remember.
Short events, such as 2 – 3 hours, will include tasting many of the things we find, and I usually bring a couple of pre-prepared wild food samples to try as well. For longer events over 3 hours, I can do a foraged lunch so you get an even more indulgent taste of the wild!

Children’s Foraging Events
Children love foraging, not least because it’s hands on, fascinating, and is one of the best ways for them to indulge their natural-born love of nature. I believe all children should have at least a basic understanding of foraging as part of their wider immersion and education in nature.
“If children don’t grow up knowing about nature, and appreciating it, they will not understand it. And if they don’t understand it, they won’t protect it. And if they don’t protect it, who will?” – Sir David Attenborough.
I run foraging experiences for children of all ages, and past examples include nursery groups, schools, scout groups and youth groups. Each experience can be tailored to your requirements.
